Granted by class, race, tags, etc.

These include all manner of active abilities the character can use. It can sometimes be spell-like abilities. A special ability's uses per day (or other time), charges, means of recharging and so forth will usually be described on whatever is tagged for the Ability.


Type describes what type of action is required (move, standard, etc.) Requirement describes whats needed to use the action in advance Cost is payment for the action

If Reaction, Free, Opportunity, Movement, Standard, Full Round or Constant is listed in the Types, this overwrites the action required for the ability. Likewise if a range is listed, it overrides any given range or area.


Persistent duration = lasts as long as the character continues to take the action!
