Effects - Character is able to remove a number of levels of Disease Severity from a patient equal to the Level of Cure Disease. These may be removed from multiple Diseases the Character suffers from - for instance, a character suffering from Devastating Lungrot and Moderate Cold has a total of 8 Levels of Disease Severity. A character with Cure Disease VII can remove almost all of that if they wish, leaving them only with a Minor Cold.
This does not include Afflictions - magical diseases and curses such as Lycanthropy and Vampirism.
