Magical Fumbling

Interaction - Same

Effects - Magical Items not suited to the character's class have a 20% of failing when used by this character whenever they are used. In the case of items with persistent use once activated, such as armour or a robe, it is checked the first time it is used in an encounter. This malfunction chance applies to rods, staves, wands, rings, amulets, potions, horns, jewels and all other magical items except weapons, shields, armour, gauntlets and girdles, though if these items have an active ability, then that is checked against. It does not effect items that are always active.
