Speed Modifier [Type]

Interaction - Same, Different, Speed Modifier bonus Counters Speed Modifier penalty

Effects - Character has a modifier to their Speed. The Type of Speed specified determines what is modified - usually Base Speed, Base Casting Speed or Weapon Speed. A specific Spell or Weapon may be specified meaning it only effects Spells or Weapons of this Type. This only effects when an action can be taken - it does NOT decrease the spell casting speed, only the phase in which the character may begin Casting.

For example, a Character has Speed Modifier +1 [Base, Weapon]. Their Base Speed is Fast and their Weapon Speed is Average. This modifier would increase their Base Speed to Very Fast and their Weapon Speed to Fast.

If a Character has multiple Speed Modifiers of the same Type, all stack or counter each other, depending on their form.
