Turned

Tree - Turned - Banished

Cause - Character is successfully Turned by Turn Special Ability.

Effects - The effects depend on whether the Character is free-willed or not.

If the character is Bound but not receiving orders, they may not take any actions that would knowingly hurt or impede others. This includes attacks, area of effect abilities or moving to block them. They are considered otherwise Unaware of all characters for the duration and attacks receive a +4 to Hit the character. A non-intelligent Skeleton, be it one that is raised by Negative Energy or bound by a Necromancer, is usually considered as this.

If the character is not Bound or is Bound but has received orders or is currently receiving orders, they will attempt to move out of range of the effect or move to a position where they break line of sight with the Cause of the Turning. They will attempt do do this at maximum speed. They will NOT attempt to avoid Threatened spaces. Attacks receive a +4 to Hit the character.

If the character is not Bound they will attempt to move out of range of the effect or move to a position where they break line of sight with the Cause of the Turning. They will attempt do do this at maximum speed. They WILL attempt to avoid Threatened spaces. Attacks receive a +4 to Hit the character.

Recovery - If a character is Attacked with intention to damage, Turned is removed. If the character takes damage from any source, Turned is removed. If the character is Cornered at the End of the Round, Turned is removed. If the character is not Bound and is Cornered or Trapped at the End of the Round, Turned is removed. Remove Fear also removes Turned.
